This is not a remote or hybrid position. The successful candidate will work from our offices each day and will regularly collaborate with employees at both of our locations.
Because this role works closely with department managers, observes business processes firsthand, and helps implement technology improvements throughout the organization, being physically present is an essential part of the position.
Applicants seeking remote, hybrid, or primarily work-from-home arrangements should not apply., Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Business Systems & Business Intelligence Manager will serve as the bridge between business operations and technology.
This individual will become the company's expert on our Dealer Management System (DMS), business reporting, analytics, automation, and technology initiatives. You will work directly with department managers across Sales, Service, Parts, Leasing, Rental, and Accounting to improve how information is captured, analyzed, and used to make business decisions.
Your mission is to help build a more data-driven organization by developing dashboards, automating processes, improving business systems, evaluating new technologies, and helping employees get more value from the software they use every day.

Primary Responsibilities
Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Design and maintain executive dashboards and departmental KPI reporting
- Build interactive Power BI dashboards and visualizations
- Develop SQL queries and reporting tools
- Analyze business trends and identify opportunities for improvement
- Create automated reports for executive leadership and department managers
- Develop operational, financial, sales, service, inventory, and profitability reporting
- Help management make better decisions through meaningful business intelligence
Business Systems Management
- Become the internal expert on our Dealer Management System (DMS)
- Optimize workflows and improve utilization of existing software
- Create custom reports, queries, and data extracts
- Coordinate software upgrades and testing
- Work directly with software vendors to resolve issues and improve functionality
- Maintain system documentation and business processes
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify repetitive processes that can be automated
- Build workflows using Microsoft Power Platform tools
- Evaluate and implement AI solutions where practical
- Reduce manual work through automation and process improvements
- Standardize and document business procedures
Technology & Vendor Management
- Serve as the primary liaison with our Managed IT Service Provider
- Coordinate technology projects and software implementations
- Administer Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and other business applications
- Manage VoIP phone system administration, user provisioning, call routing, and automated attendants
- Coordinate user onboarding and offboarding across business systems
- Manage software licensing and technology vendors
- Research and recommend new software, applications, and technologies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, or enhance the customer experience
Training & User Support
- Train employees on business applications and technology
- Develop user guides and documentation
- Assist departments in improving technology adoption
- Support employees with business systems and reporting tools
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement throughout the organization, * THIS IS AN IN PERSON POSITION, THERE IS NO REMOTE OR HYBRID WORK OPTION. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE IN THE OFFICE EVERY DAY. CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO REPORT TO THE OFFICE EVERY DAY, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
- Familiarity with relational databases
- Experience with ERP or Dealer Management Systems
- Knowledge of APIs and system integrations
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms
- Basic programming or scripting experience (Python, SQL, JavaScript, or similar)
