Job description
The Data Management Coordinator will help develop our Data & Analytics program, which will oversee, maintain, and improve our membership database, while working closely with Leadership and our Operations team to establish best practices for data-centric union functions.
This role would be a good fit for someone who has managed data in union, electoral, or non-profit contexts, or for someone with both organizing and data experience.
About SEIU Local 668SEIU Local 668 represents nearly 20,000 health and human services workers, including those who work as employment and youth counselors, social workers, corrections and probation officers, ChildLine and 911 operators, drug and alcohol counselors, and court employees, among others. Approximately half of our members are employed by the Commonwealth, and another 9,000 work for the municipal, county, and private employers across the state. Our members are a diverse group of individuals, of varying ethnicities, political affiliations, and beliefs, but they are united by their dedication to serving our community - the people of Pennsylvania.

Work with 3rd third-party administrator to obtain data from outside the warehouse, work with organization leaders to export and organize data to create a user-friendly dashboard for staff and leadership use.

Administer, monitor, update, and continually improve the membership database and processes.

Track the bargaining unit list from employers

Work closely with our Operations Director to establish best practices and processes for key union functions across CRMs (Memtrak, Fieldtrak, UnionWare, Zoho, VAN).

Help manage and improve the data warehouse using dbt and SQL.

Leverage Python and use APIs to connect data across CRMs and other tools

Create dashboards in Looker Studio to give staff the needed information for key campaigns

Innovate new ways to increase efficiencies and utilize new technology to support union goals

Provide Leadership with a quarterly report highlighting membership gross and net growth, density, and trends by sector and region

Work with Leadership and staff to help introduce the use of key metrics to assess growth, target areas, and goals

Other duties as required to support the mission of the union
Requirements

3+ years of experience within Excel/Google Sheets required

3+ years of experience with CRMs required

2+ years of experience with SQL required, experience managing a data warehouse using dbt preferred

2+ years of experience with Python required

Interest in developing new technical skills

Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion

Ability to work with a diverse group of staff and members

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively regarding the results of your work

Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and ability to attend occasional onsite meetings in Harrisburg
Benefits & conditions
Six-month contract with ability to extend or create permanent position. Salary of $120,000.00 without benefits.
