Join AZAD Technology Partners as a System Administrator and perform duties such as developing and interpreting policies, procedures, and strategies governing agency-wide IT service delivery, while providing expert technical advice to management on critical IT issues. Shepherding the integration of IT programs and services, resolving complex interoperability issues, and designing systems that optimize the existing architecture. Developing clean software code, automating business processes, and managing project documentation. Working within an Agile development team, adhering to strict testing and deployment procedures to meet current and future business requirements. The ideal candidate has a willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated with industry trends and has a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines at the same time., A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a directly related field is preferred. 8 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor's or associate degree. 10 years of experience is required without an applicable bachelor's or associate degree or no degree. Applicable Certifications may count for 1 year of experience. Experience must include direct work experience in information Technology performing System Administration. 7 years of the following experience: Developing in C# leveraging the latest features of .NET 10 to build high-performance, secure, and maintainable enterprise applications. Designing and implementing RESTful API's using modern standards, including expertise in middleware, authentication/authorization protocols, and end-to-end API lifecycle management. Use TypeScript to maintain or build scalable applications capable of using at least one major frontend framework (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js). Strong adherence to Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and SOLID principles to create clean, scalable, and maintainable code. Expertise in designing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server databases. This includes writing and optimizing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and strategically implementing indexes for performance. Experience with data access frameworks such as Entity Framework, NHibernate, or ADO.NET for database communication. Proficient in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and experience with tools like Bulk Copy Program (BCP) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for data migration and integration from various sources (e.g., flat files, Excel, other systems). Proficient with Git and common branching strategies for collaborative development. Experience with implementing and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins Expertise in using Microsoft Visual Studio IDE for development, debugging, and testing. Familiarity with using SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) in Visual Studio to manage database schemas as code. Experience using Microsoft Office's large suite of applications, including specifically PowerPoint, Visio, and Project. Experience using SharePoint for enhanced document sharing and collaboration. Work in conjunction with other IT development professionals and support teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both peers and external customers. Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID is required. Preferred Skills: Experience with Agile development practices such as SCRUM Experience working in an environment utilizing formal change management and operating under strict separation of duty principles. Experience working in 24/7 high availability environment. Knowledge of and experience working with: Windows application development using WPF Angular, Bootstrap, and responsive design principles MuleSoft Azure DevOps for Agile management, deployment pipelines, and source control Visual Studio 2026 and Visual Studio Code Version Control Systems (e.g., TFS, Subversion, Git, Mercurial) WinForms Exposure to other programming languages (i.e. C++, Java) Windows Cluster Server administration PowerShell and related scripting Web services and socket-based protocols (e.g., XPATH, XML Schemas, XSLT, WCF, SOAP) Web application development using MVC Proven experience collaborating with software developers, testers and users throughout the System Life Cycle (SLC) Demonstrated Ability to: Create and maintain clearly written technical, user, and system documentation Analyze information and use logic to address work related issues and problems, with understanding of impact on current and future programs and processes. Produce code that coworkers can maintain and must be agreeable to peer reviews Quickly become familiar with existing systems and codebases Take over support of code written by other developers Problem solving by debugging and troubleshooting Provide a sustainable IT infrastructure by supplying cross training and functional documentation. Design and implement solutions to complex technical issues Experience working with NIST/FISMA standards/guidelines Experience applying NERC-CIP standards Governmental processes and (electric) utility experience
