Job description

To work closely with the VP of Patient Throughput & Support Operations and each Hospital operations team (CEO, CMO, CNO) to further the patient care, operational and financial missions through the optimization of decision making capabilities, targeted process improvements and collaborative stakeholder communication for UAB Medicine enterprise related to patient throughput and support services. To strategically analyze complex executive-level challenges and develop innovative approaches that surface objective insights to support critical organizational decisions. To lead a team of Epic certified data analysts and other data analysts to produce data, visualizations and process flow resources in ensuring the availability, integrity and accuracy of information used for complex operational and financial decisions. To serve as the primary liaison to enterprise data warehouse and Epic system team hub as the operational lead for the patient logistics spoke.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and five (5) years of data analytics experience required. Relevant work experience may substitute for education requirement. Epic certification(s) in area(s) of responsibility is preferred.
