Job description
Join an innovative manufacturing team supporting advanced aerospace and spaceflight programs. This temporary position is ideal for skilled technicians with experience assembling high-precision products in industries such as aerospace, electronics, automotive, or medical devices. You'll work with cutting-edge manufacturing equipment and contribute to hardware used in government and commercial space missions. Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming flight and production hardware.
- Perform precision cleaning, bagging, tagging, inspection, and assembly of complex mechanical and electrical components.
- Conduct acceptance testing, including visual inspections, dimensional measurements, electrical checks, and leak testing.
- Operate and maintain advanced manufacturing and metrology equipment.
- Use tools such as torque wrenches, calipers, multimeters, pressure gauges, and crimping tools.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and provide manufacturing feedback to engineering teams.
- Maintain quality, safety, and documentation standards throughout the production process.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in precision assembly, manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, automotive, medical device, or related industries.
- Experience working with mechanical, electrical, or high-precision hardware.
- Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing work instructions/job routers preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated production environment.
- Comfortable working around advanced manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
