Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Equipment Coordinator to support machine design and assembly operations. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and preparing materials while coordinating with multiple teams to ensure all required machine components and documentation are available for assembly. The ideal candidate is organized, mechanically inclined, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and check in Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) parts and custom machine components.
- Track and monitor outstanding parts to ensure timely availability for production.
- Consolidate, organize, and stage COTS and machined components for assembly readiness.
- Print, organize, and maintain required documentation, including TLAs, schematics, and work instructions.
- Coordinate with technicians, machine shop personnel, and requesters to resolve missing, delayed, or incorrect parts.
- Package, crate, and pallet completed equipment kits for shipment.
- Notify requesters when kits are complete and ready for delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory and material records.
- Support continuous workflow by ensuring materials and documentation are available when needed.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, moving, and handling materials., * Mechanical aptitude with general technical knowledge.
- Familiarity with SolidWorks.
- Experience in manufacturing, machine assembly, equipment coordination, inventory, or material handling.
- Experience working with engineering drawings, schematics, or technical documentation.
