Job description

  • Occasional domestic and international travel may be required to support global business operations.
  • Candidates must be comfortable supporting global teams across multiple time zones., The IT Project Manager will serve as the project manager for IT-supported initiatives. This role is responsible for the successful execution of projects from initiation through closeout while leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

The Project Manager will lead a portfolio of IT initiatives focused on transforming business operations, improving organizational performance, and delivering integrated technology solutions across business functions and global regions., * Direct all phases of projects from initiation through completion.

  • Partner with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Lead a portfolio of IT transformation initiatives supporting business functions and global operations.
  • Collaborate with PMO leadership to implement project management tools, standards, and best practices.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and technical performance.
  • Establish project milestones and monitor adherence to project plans and schedules.
  • Communicate project status, risks, milestones, and deliverables to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including IT, Engineering, Operations, Vendor Management, Logistics, and Business stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive issue resolution.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and manage competing priorities across multiple initiatives.
  • Analyze project performance and prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
  • Partner with other Program Managers to identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across multiple projects.
  • Facilitate workshops, business process mapping sessions, and requirements gathering activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a comparable Project Management role.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant subject matter experience.
  • Demonstrated Project Management and Project Leadership experience.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently within a fast-paced matrix organization.

Technical Knowledge & Experience

  • IT infrastructure services and architecture.
  • Information security and data privacy principles, preferably within healthcare or other regulated industries.
  • IT systems supporting quality-regulated environments.
  • Current IT technologies, standards, and best practices.
  • ITIL principles and IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Lean, Agile, and/or Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) methodologies.
  • Experience facilitating business process mapping and value stream workshops.
  • Experience facilitating business requirements and solution design workshops., * Experience with Monday.com.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Workday or similar ERP/HCM systems.
  • Experience supporting global teams across multiple time zones.
  • Experience working within PMO or enterprise program management organizations.
  • Experience managing large, complex business transformation projects.
  • PMP Certification or equivalent preferred.
  • ITIL Certification or strong ITIL process knowledge preferred.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and senior leadership.
  • Vendor and supplier management experience., * No specific degree requirement.
  • Relevant project management, leadership, and stakeholder management experience is preferred over formal education.
