- Develop and execute test plans and procedures for automotive components and systems, ensuring compliance with design and regulatory standards.
- Apply engineering principles and analysis tools to test design parts and components, verifying design feasibility and performance targets.
- Create data settings, test specifications, and schedules; prepare and set up test equipment for conducting tests.
- Conduct moderately complex tests, document results, and analyze data to predict performance and identify issues.
- Communicate test results through reports and presentations, propose design modifications, and develop countermeasures based on findings.
Requirements
Our client, a leader in automotive technology and innovation, is seeking a Test Engineer L2 to join their team. As a Test Engineer L2, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Vehicle Systems Testing team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization., * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; 6 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree.
- Over 5 years of test engineering experience, particularly in automotive testing and confirmation processes.
- Experience with automotive CAN bus architecture, protocols, and analysis tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, and PREEvision.
- Knowledge of vehicle-level testing, network troubleshooting, and automotive communication standards like ISO 11898 and AUTOSAR.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation, including CAPL scripting or similar tools, for automating testing tasks.
