Data Center Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, optimization, expansion, and resiliency of

mission-critical data center environments. This role focuses on power, cooling, capacity planning, critical facilities engineering, and infrastructure

monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assess and optimize power, cooling, and space capacity across data center environments.
• Analyze and support critical electrical infrastructure, including utility services, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and power distribution.
• Review one-line diagrams, engineering designs, and resiliency/failover strategies.
• Develop capacity planning models and infrastructure utilization reports.
• Utilize DCIM, telemetry, and monitoring tools to improve operational visibility and performance.
• Support data center builds, upgrades, commissioning, and expansion projects.
• Partner with construction teams, utility providers, vendors, and facility stakeholders to deliver infrastructure initiatives.

• Data Center Capacity Planning (Power, Cooling & Space) - Capacity forecasting, workload placement optimization, and infrastructure utilization analysis.
• Critical Facilities Engineering - Experience with UPS, switchgear, generators, cooling systems, one-line diagram review, and resiliency/failover engineering.
• DCIM, Telemetry & Infrastructure Analytics - Hands-on experience with DCIM platforms, monitoring tools, telemetry, and infrastructure analytics., * 5+ years of experience in Data Center Engineering, Critical Facilities Engineering, or Mission-Critical Infrastructure.
• Experience supporting colocation, enterprise, or hyperscale data centers.
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering experience within data center environments.
• Experience with infrastructure expansions, commissioning, and operational readiness., * Data Center Engineering

This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.53 - $60.53/hr.
