Job description
Secure Infrastructure & Systems Administration

Administer and maintain Windows Server and Linux systems
-
Support Active Directory, Group Policy, identity management, and access controls
-
Monitor system performance, availability, and security across on-prem and cloud resources
-
Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management in accordance with change control procedures Engineering & Program Systems Support
-
Administer and support Windchill PLM, including user access, system health, and engineering workflow support
-
Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to ensure system availability and performance Cloud & DevOps Enablement
-
Support Azure infrastructure including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services
-
Administer and support Azure DevOps projects, repositories, pipelines, and access controls
-
Assist with CI/CD tooling and DevOps workflows in support of internal development and engineering initiatives Security, Compliance & Audit Support

Implement and maintain security controls aligned with NIST 800-171 and CMMC
-
Support system logging, auditing, and monitoring to meet compliance and customer expectations
-
Assist with internal and external audits, assessments, and documentation reviews
-
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective action efforts Documentation & Continuous Improvement

Maintain system documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures

Support configuration baselines and system hardening standards

Identify opportunities to improve reliability, automation, and operational efficiency Helpdesk Escalation & Advanced Troubleshooting

Serve as a senior escalation point for helpdesk tickets requiring advanced technical analysis
-
Diagnose and resolve complex issues across endpoints, operating systems, applications, networking, and identity services
-
Support end users in engineering, manufacturing, and program roles
-
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions to prevent recurrence
-
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to helpdesk and junior IT staff
Requirements
-
5+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure support
-
Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise identity management
-
Working knowledge of Linux administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar)
-
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
-
Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, or similar)
-
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience supporting Windchill PLM or similar engineering lifecycle systems
-
Experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards, permissions)
-
Experience with Docker containerization, including building, deploying, and maintaining containerized applications
-
Experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting environments
-
Familiarity with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware)
-
Understanding of compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-171, CMMC, or DFARS, * U.S. Citizenship required
-
Active security clearance not required but preferred
-
Ability to obtain a clearance if required by contract, * Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance
-
Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, program managers, and leadership

Proactive mindset with a focus on customer support and system reliability
