Job description
We are seeking a full-time IT/Telephone Technician to join our growing team. You will play an integral role in troubleshooting and supporting business phone systems (VoIP and traditional), data networks, and IT infrastructure for our clients., · Troubleshoot and maintain business VoIP and network systems.
· Perform network modeling, analysis, and performance tuning.
· Enforce company standards and policies for systems and configurations.
· Manage customer expectations and escalations with professionalism and clarity.
· Communicate complex technical issues in a way that clients can easily understand.
· Collaborate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
· Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through reliable, responsive service.
Requirements
Our technicians are problem-solvers who enjoy working independently, take pride in their work, and genuinely care about helping customers succeed. You'll be trusted to represent IDeACOM ECSI with professionalism, clear communication, and strong technical expertise., · Experience with Microsoft 365, Server 2022/2025, VoIP systems, TDM, LAN/WAN networking, and structured cabling.
· Ability to troubleshoot routers, switches, wireless access points, and perform programming or configuration tasks.
· Understanding of firewalls, routers, PBX, switches, TCP/IP, and related protocols.
· Knowledge of Internet protocols (SSH, FTP, SFTP, HTTP) and diagnostic tools (ping, trace route, dig, etc.).
· Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation.
· Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
· Prior experience in network support or troubleshooting (1+ year) preferred.
