Job description

As a Senior Specialist Release Train Engineer (RTE), you will play a key role in supporting Agile Release Trains (ARTs) by facilitating team-of-teams coordination, managing dependencies, promoting collaboration, and helping delivery teams execute Program Increment (PI) objectives successfully., You will support Agile Release Train execution across cross-functional teams by facilitating Agile events, monitoring dependencies, tracking program performance metrics, identifying delivery risks, and promoting continuous improvement. Working closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Engineering Teams, and Business Stakeholders, you will help ensure alignment between program objectives and delivery execution within established Agile frameworks.

What You'll Do

  • Support Program Increment (PI) Planning activities, readiness reviews, and execution tracking.
  • Facilitate Agile team-of-teams ceremonies including Scrum of Scrums, ART Syncs, System Demos, Retrospectives, and Problem-Solving Workshops.
  • Identify, track, and coordinate resolution of cross-team dependencies and delivery impediments.
  • Monitor program risks, issues, milestones, and action items to support predictable delivery outcomes.
  • Maintain Agile metrics, dashboards, reports, and program health indicators for leadership visibility.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and engineering teams to align priorities and execution plans.
  • Support release readiness reviews and delivery coordination activities.
  • Promote adoption of Agile and SAFe best practices within assigned programs and teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of Agile delivery, project management, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, or related experience.
  • Experience working within Agile and/or SAFe delivery frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Agile planning, and iterative delivery methodologies.
  • Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Planner, Confluence, or related Agile management tools.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience supporting Agile Release Train execution and Program Increment planning.
  • Working knowledge of dependency management, risk management, and release coordination.
  • Experience developing delivery metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms.
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
