Job description
- Utilizes software tools to automate the installation of OS images and application software.
- Coordinates walk-throughs with vendors to determine cabling and other IS related needs.
- Knowledgeable of all facilities for on-call purposes.
- Provides solutions to end user hardware, software and connectivity issues by using
troubleshooting and technical skills.
- Reports deployment of spare equipment to Senior or Lead Desktop Solutions Specialist and
coordinates the repair of broken equipment when placed out of service.
- Maintains accurate information/data regarding end user issues within the tracking system
and updates asset information/data when equipment is moved, added or changed.
- Ensures that all information systems products and services meet minimum corporate
standards and end user requirements.
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all hospital policies,
procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management,
supply management, productivity and quality of service.
- Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for
mandatory/continuing education, skills competency, supports department-based goals which
contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor, and resource to
less experienced staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Associates Degree or two (2) years of Information Technology field experience
- Windows 10 and 11, VDI and network printing experience
- Experience with standard software installs and hardware repairs - Experience working for a large corporation or health system
- Experience with the Service Now ticketing system
