Requirements

Our client, an award-winning company in the trading sector, is seeking a passionate Quantitative Python Engineer (m/f/x) who is excited to push the boundaries of what's possible together with them. If you have a knack for writing clean code, enjoy tackling challenging problems, and want to work in an inspiring team, then read on - your next big adventure starts here, * You have 2+ years of professional experience as a Python Software Engineer, Quantitative Engineer, or in a similar role.

  • You hold a Master's degree or PhD in Mathematics, Economics, Quantitative Finance, or a related field. Candidates with a degree in Software Engineering are also welcome, provided they have relevant professional experience in quantitative finance or financial mathematics.
  • You have a solid understanding of financial mathematics, quantitative modelling, and financial markets.
  • You have at least two years of hands-on Python development experience and practical experience with NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, and/or TensorFlow.
  • You have experience developing and maintaining production-grade software applications, including CI/CD pipelines, test-driven development (TDD), and ideally containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience working with AI and machine learning tools is considered an advantage.
  • You have first hands-on experience with AWS and are comfortable building, deploying, and operating cloud-native applications.
  • You are a proactive and self-driven professional with strong communication skills and a proven ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results independently.
  • You have English language skills at level C1 or higher.
