Job description

As a Test Engineer at think-cell, you'll help improve a product that over 1,000,000 professionals around the world rely on every day.

Testing and verifying new features is an important part of the job, as our product continues to evolve. Since think-cell is seamlessly integrated into Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, we must pay close attention to its compatibility with supported Microsoft Office versions, operating systems, and their respective updates.

There is a certain level of complexity to our product and consequently to the testing process. Problem-solving skills are important as well as keeping an overview between verifying fixes, creating test cases, and ensuring our users receive only top quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Feature Testing: Ensure new think-cell features work properly and verify their logical consistency and usability.

  • Release Testing: Conduct final quality checks before each think-cell version release.

  • Error Reproduction and Reporting: Create detailed error reproductions and document them clearly. Provide precise information to help resolve issues and record all error-related details in the internal system.

  • Verification: Verify that developer fixes successfully resolve reported issues.

  • Knowledge Base Management: Maintain and expand the internal Knowledge Base with documentation of new product functionality.

Requirements

  • High level of self-motivation and independent work structuring.

  • Curiosity and critical thinking.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • (Plus) Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
