Job description

We use our Flywire Advantage - the combination of our next-gen payments platform, proprietary payment network and vertical specific software, to help our clients get paid, and help their customers pay with ease - no matter where they are in the world., As a Senior SRE II, you will serve as a technical anchor for production reliability. You will design, scale, and maintain our cloud infrastructure while empowering engineering teams to ship reliable, high-performing systems at speed., Work closely with product teams to define SLOs/SLIs, advocate for operational best practices, and guide system architecture.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Systems Infrastructure roles supporting production environments at scale., Proficiency in at least one modern language (Go, Python, Ruby, Java, or Kotlin) and familiarity with testing practices (TDD/BDD).

Cloud & DevOps Ecosystem:

Production hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, container orchestrators (ECS/Kubernetes), Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/Jenkins).

System Architecture:

Ability to take ownership of complex system challenges, translate business needs into technical designs, and mentor peers.

Fluent English Communication:

Comfortable collaborating with distributed global teams across different time zones.
