Software Engineer (React / Golang

As Technical Lead for Gartner Peer Community, you own the system architecture and drive cross-team integration across three Scrum teams. You partner with Product and Design to translate problems into scalable technical solutions, shaping the architectural runway and ensuring delivery readiness. You will design client-side and backend services (Go) with a focus on usability, reliability, and performance, while mentoring engineers and improving engineering processes. This is a mission-driven role at the intersection of enterprise peer knowledge, product maturity, and scalable platforms., * Drive discovery, prototyping, and architectural runway to ensure delivery readiness and alignment

• Design and evolve client-side architecture for web and mobile with cross-platform consistency
• Build scalable backend services in Go with strong observability
• Define non-functional requirements: scalability, availability, security, observability, performance
• Coach and mentor senior engineers and influence hiring and engineering standards
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate customer problems into technical solutions and measurable outcomes
• Improve engineering processes and tooling to reduce cycle time and increase reliability

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems
• Experience leading architecture and delivery across multiple teams
• Proficiency in at least two of: React, Next.Js, Go
• Hands-on experience with observability, incident response, and performance tuning
• Proven track record delivering systems with strong UX, maintainability, and operational quality
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
