Data Architect - Google Cloud Platform

As a Data Architect at Kyndryl in the Applications, Data & AI practice, you will define end-to-end data architectures on Google Cloud Platform and guide delivery teams to build scalable, governed data ecosystems. You'll translate business needs into architectural roadmaps, shaping data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouse patterns with real-time capabilities. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to ensure security, governance, and data quality while aligning solutions with business goals. This role offers the chance to influence enterprise data strategy in a growth-oriented, inclusive culture., * Design and define enterprise-scale data architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable data platform strategies and roadmaps
• Design data ecosystems including data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouse architectures, and real-time processing solutions
• Lead and mentor data engineering teams during implementation and delivery phases
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, governance, and data quality standards
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align architecture decisions with business objectives

• 5+ years designing and implementing enterprise data platforms and architectures
• Strong experience with GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Composer, Vertex AI)
• Expertise in modern data architectures (data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouses)
• Experience leading technical teams and coordinating implementation activities
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, orchestration, and data integration patterns
