Job description
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud migration initiatives, application operations, DevOps practices, and Azure technologies, working closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure service reliability, scalability, and operational excellence., * Own and manage IT services end-to-end, ensuring compliance with defined SLAs and understanding service dependencies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Operations, Support, Maintenance, and service lifecycle-related activities.
- Drive application re-platforming and migration initiatives towards Azure Cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security controls, and secure-by-design principles.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, promoting DevOps culture and best practices.
- Enable CI/CD automation and cloud-native development approaches.
- Improve developer experience through documentation, templates, standards, and training materials.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on platform adoption, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in agile projects, providing technical and business analysis expertise.
Requirements
- Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and its core services.
- Proven experience leading or supporting application migrations and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Experience working with Oracle, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
- Strong knowledge of Git version control.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
Nice to have:
- Background in Java or .NET (C#) environments.
- Experience with automation scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or deployment solutions like Octopus Deploy.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including ingress controllers and load balancers.
- Previous experience in the banking, financial services, or highly regulated environments.
- Fluent Spanish and/or German.
