Job description
We are looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership for a team of senior engineers building and enhancing software products for a global printing and packaging company. You will own architectural decisions across a Node.js and Next.js stack, set engineering standards, conduct code reviews, drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools including GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, and act as the primary technical counterpart to client stakeholders. The role combines architecture, delivery ownership, and direct client engagement across a distributed engineering team. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own the technical direction and architecture of the platform across backend (Node.js) and frontend (Next.js);
- Lead and mentor a team of senior backend, frontend, QA automation, and AI engineers;
- Translate business initiatives into technical roadmaps, break down epics, and drive estimation;
- Conduct code reviews, define engineering standards, and safeguard code quality across the team;
- Drive adoption of an AI-driven SDLC by integrating AI-assisted development tools into day-to-day workflows;
- Partner with client stakeholders on architecture reviews, technical strategy, and CRO/A/B testing implementation;
- Oversee the maintenance backlog, bug triage, and prioritization alongside the Project Manager;
- Ensure security and quality gates are enforced across all releases;
- Remove blockers and act as the escalation point for technical risks.
Requirements

Deep expertise in Node.js and React/Next.js in production environments;

Strong architectural background in distributed systems, API design, scalability, and performance;

Hands-on experience with AWS;

Proven track record of setting engineering standards, code review culture, and CI/CD practices;

Experience working directly with client stakeholders and translating business goals into technical plans;

Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. NICE TO HAVES

Experience implementing AI-assisted development workflows;

Familiarity with Databricks or data lake architectures;

Exposure to CRO and A/B testing programs;

Experience leading distributed or hybrid teams across multiple geographies;

Background in manufacturing, industrial, or B2B SaaS domains.
