Job description

Step into a pivotal role within Swiss Re's Digital Workplace team, where youwillbe at the forefrontofcontinuedworkplace transformation. As a Lead WorkplaceEngineer, youwillco-lead the strategy, adoption, and delivery of intelligentDigital Workplace capabilities - with a spotlight on Microsoft 365,Workplace AIassistants,agentsand automation.Your work will directly shape the modern, best-in-class digital experience for our global workforce, driving measurable business value while ensuring services are delivered in line with security, compliance, regulatory, and governance requirements., * Drive platform evolution by identifying, evaluating, and deploying new Microsoft 365 and AI-augmented capabilities, processes, and solutions aligned with business requirements

  • Lead design and implementation of Microsoft 365 capabilities, as well as security, governance and compliance controls, translating internal risk policies into technical measures and operating procedures
  • Deliver transformational initiatives and solutions, such as platform modernisation, migration activities and similar, turning technology into measurable business value
  • Monitor and respond to fast-paced developments in the Digital Workplace space, maintaining active engagement with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Hands-on implementation with Microsoft 365, Azure workloads and modern scripting and development platforms
  • Leverage data platforms such as MS Power Platform and Palantir Foundry to drive data-informed workplace decisions and visualisations
  • Continuously upskill, improve controls and procedures, and actively share knowledge across teams to foster a culture of learning and innovation

Requirements

You bring a track record of successful delivery in complex, fast-paced environments and are energised by the opportunity to create real impact., * Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 digital workplace platform and related services, including security, governance and compliance capabilities

  • Advanced automation and scripting capabilities including experience with modern DevOps technologies and CI/CD methodologies
  • Hands-on knowledge with Enterprise AI platforms such as Copilot or ChatGPT Enterprise
  • Good working knowledge of data analytics and visualisation, including hands-on experience with tools such as MS Power Platform and Palantir Foundry
  • Good working knowledge of Azure Cloud, Networking, Identity and Access Management, as well as provisioning, authorisation, and authentication concepts
  • Fluent English with excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation and beyond, * Experience working in a global enterprise environment, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector
  • Familiarity with Regulatory, Governance and Risk Management frameworks and methodologies
  • Experience working in agile SCRUM methodology

Hybrid Work Model

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least 50% of the time.

Benefits & conditions

For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 60,000 and EUR 100,000 for a full-time role.

  • The requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role
  • The applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience
  • In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
