Job description

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a C++ Software Developer to join the GIS-LPMON team. The position will be based in Paris. You will report to the GIS-LPMON Delivery Manager.

You will primarily be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining high-performance, low-latency C++ applications for liquidity provider monitoring
  • Improving the overall design, scalability and operability of the LP Monitoring application
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver business initiatives
  • Diagnosing and resolving software problems efficiently
  • Contributing to the architecture of next generation applications
  • Participating in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, coding, unit testing and deployment
  • Ensuring code quality through best practices, code reviews and use of modern development tools

Requirements

Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills

  • Proficient in C++ (preferably C++17) and experienced with STL libraries
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures and design patterns
  • Experience with the full software development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with Linux (RedHat) environments
  • Experience with Git, CMake and message processing
  • Knowledge of Redshift Database and Python is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues quickly
  • Effective communicator and able to collaborate with teams outside of development
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

The GIS-LPMON team is responsible for monitoring liquidity providers' performance and ensuring compliance with MiFID II indicators.
