EC | Cloud Application Specialist | SaaS | Utrecht | 90k

As a Cloud Application Specialist, you will build, manage, and deploy cloud hosting environments that power modern SaaS solutions. This is a permanent, internal position working directly for our platform, not a consultancy or temporary project assignment. You will take long term ownership of our environments, working across both Microsoft Azure and private cloud systems to help automate infrastructure, support business-critical applications, and play an important role in our ongoing transition to Azure while helping maintain the existing platform.

You'll work with technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Bicep, PowerShell, Windows Server, and Active Directory. Together with an experienced Cloud Platform Team, you'll optimize cloud environments, automate deployments, strengthen security, and contribute to the continuous evolution of the Azure platform.

• 4-5 years of relevant working experience in a professional cloud, infrastructure, or IT environment.
• Handson experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), including Entra Connect Sync.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), preferably with MSIX app attach.
• Experience with PowerShell and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with automation and security tools such as Microsoft Defender, Ivanti Automation Manager, Ivanti Security Controls, or Tenable.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Bicep.
• Comfortable working with new technologies, products, and integrations.
• A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
• AZ-900 or AZ-104 certification is considered a plus.
• Passionate about learning and applying new technologies.
• Enjoy working in a collaborative and customer-focused engineering team.
• Fluent in English.
• EU citizenship or a valid permanent residence/partner visa (no visa sponsorship available).
