Job description
As IT Systems Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the IT function, ensuring the business has reliable, secure and scalable technology to support its continued growth. You'll work closely with senior leadership, external technology partners and users across the business to deliver improvements, drive automation and maximise the value of the company's IT systems. This is a varied role combining operational IT management with business systems ownership and technology improvement projects., * Lead and manage the company's IT function and technology roadmap.
- Take ownership of business-critical systems, infrastructure and day-to-day IT operations.
- Support, develop and continually improve the company's ERP platform (Infor), with full support provided to develop your expertise.
- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, reporting improvements and process optimisation.
- Create dashboards and management reporting to improve business visibility and decision-making.
- Manage IT projects from planning through to successful delivery.
- Oversee third-party suppliers, software vendors and managed service providers.
- Ensure systems remain secure, resilient and aligned with business requirements.
- Manage IT budgets, software licensing and technology investments.
- Drive continuous improvement across IT services and business systems.
Requirements
We're interested in speaking with experienced IT professionals who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience as an IT Manager, IT Systems Manager, Head of IT or similar leadership role.
- Experience managing IT within a manufacturing, engineering, distribution or industrial environment.
- Strong experience supporting ERP or business systems such as Infor BPCS, Sage, SAP, Dynamics 365, Epicor, IFS, EFACS, Syspro, Oracle or Microsoft Business Central.
- Experience delivering IT projects and business systems improvements.
- Knowledge of reporting tools, dashboards and process automation.
- Experience managing suppliers, budgets and IT service delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with users at all levels of the business.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine desire to improve systems and processes.
- A willingness to learn and develop expertise in the Infor ERP platform.
