Job description

Certa Digital Infrastructure UK Ltd. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure & Network Manager to lead the planning, implementation, security, and ongoing management of the organization's IT infrastructure and enterprise network environment. The role is responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and cybersecurity across on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure while supporting the company's digital transformation and business continuity objectives., * Lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, wireless networks, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms

  • Develop and execute infrastructure and network strategies that align with business objectives and technology roadmaps
  • Oversee network security, firewall administration, VPNs, identity and access management, and cybersecurity controls to protect enterprise systems and data
  • Manage cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost optimization
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and incident response plans to ensure operational resilience
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, network availability, capacity planning, and operational KPIs while driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, software engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders to support digital transformation projects and enterprise technology initiatives
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop infrastructure engineers, network administrators, and IT operations teams while fostering technical excellence and innovation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management, network engineering, enterprise systems administration, or technology operations leadership
  • Strong expertise in routing and switching, firewalls, VPN technologies, Windows and Linux server administration, VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, and virtualization technologies
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation tools, enterprise monitoring solutions, backup systems, and IT service management frameworks (ITIL)
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, ISO/IEC 27001, Cyber Essentials, GDPR, and enterprise risk management practices
  • Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, VMware VCP, CompTIA Network+, CISSP, or ITIL are highly desirable
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, strategic planning, project management, and stakeholder management skills

Pay: £78,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
