Job description

As a Senior Support Engineer, you will provide advanced technical support across Microsoft-based environments, working closely with customers and internal teams to resolve complex issues, implement solutions, and improve the overall user technology experience.

You will take ownership of escalations, system deployments, security platforms, and technical improvements while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery., * Work with clients to understand technical requirements and provide tailored technology solutions

  • Deliver advanced support across desktop, endpoint, and workplace technologies
  • Support the implementation, configuration, and management of email and web security platforms
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and complete Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Analyse email security incidents, phishing attempts, and web filtering issues
  • Manage and resolve incidents through a ticketing system, ensuring accurate updates and documentation
  • Lead technical deployments independently and alongside wider engineering teams
  • Create technical documentation, knowledge articles, and support processes
  • Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior engineers

Requirements

  • Strong experience supporting enterprise IT environments
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently from identification through to resolution
  • Advanced desktop and endpoint support experience
  • Experience supporting Microsoft cloud and workplace technologies
  • Strong understanding of security principles and endpoint protection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working directly with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, * Minimum 5 years' experience within IT support, ideally in an MSP or enterprise environment
  • Strong Microsoft 365 experience including administration, security, deployment, and migration
  • Understanding of Azure infrastructure, security, and optimisation
  • Experience with Intune MDM including device enrolment and policy management
  • Knowledge of SharePoint administration and migration approaches
  • Understanding of email authentication technologies including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
  • Experience with endpoint management, patching, software deployment, and modern device provisioning
