Job description

We're looking for a passionate and technically curious Penetration Tester to join our Offensive Security Testing team. In this role, you'll help identify and assess security vulnerabilities across applications, systems, and networks, supporting clients in strengthening their cyber resilience. Working alongside experienced security professionals, you'll deliver penetration testing engagements, document findings and recommendations, and continuously develop your skills with the latest tools, techniques, and emerging threats. You'll also collaborate with colleagues across the wider cyber security function, contribute to awareness activities, and support ongoing innovation within the team. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience of penetration or security testing
  • Good organisation skills, with strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • CRT / OSCP / Cyber Scheme accreditation
  • Good team ethic and the desire to accelerate your Penetration Testing career
  • Eligible for UK Security Clearance
  • Experience with Networks and infrastructures
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems
  • Knowledge of embedded computer systems
  • Experience with conducting tests on networks and applications
  • Experience with conducting security audits
  • Experience with analysing security policies
  • Experience with writing security assessment reports
  • Certification as a Cyber Essentials Plus Lead Assessor is desirable but not essential
  • Experience with M365, Azure, Sentinel
  • Relevant experience in a Security Operations environment or similar environment. Ideally Sentinel
  • Understanding of networking protocols, routing & firewall functionality
  • Hands-on experience with security technologies, including Network
  • Mapping and Analysis tools - nmap, Wireshark etc.
  • Some experience with any scripting, such as SQL, KQL, Python, Bash,PowerShell
  • Knowledge and experience with Windows and Linux Operating Systems
