Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Data Integration and Analysis team as a Data Quality Assurance Analyst from October 2026. Reporting to the Data Integration and Analysis Team Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across both the Data Integration and Data Analysis teams, as well as the wider business.

You will be responsible for performing quality assurance on data pipelines, analytical models, and reporting outputs, proactively identifying data quality and integrity issues across multiple data sources and transformations, and supporting their resolution in collaboration with relevant teams.

The role offers broad exposure across the data lifecycle and provides significant opportunities for professional growth and career development., The Data Quality Assurance Analyst will play a key part in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across the business. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

  • Support the Data Integration and Analysis Team Lead in planning and delivering objectives.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on source data, data models, dashboards, reports, and analyses to identify data quality or integrity issues and support their resolution in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Develop and maintain QA frameworks, validation scripts, and monitoring procedures.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and error analysis across multiple data sources.
  • Deliver solutions and process improvements to enhance data reliability.
  • Document data quality issues, validation rules, and QA findings to support ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate data quality issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

You will be a highly motivated, inquisitive, and logical individual with strong attention to detail. You enjoy working with data, are confident identifying inconsistencies, and take a proactive approach to improving data quality and reliability. You communicate clearly, work well both independently and collaboratively, and are keen to develop a career in data quality, data integrity, and data governance.

You will possess;

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • An awareness of BI tools, ideally Qlik Sense SaaS, with an understanding of dashboards, reports, and underlying data models (training will be provided where needed).
  • Exposure to SQL for querying, validating, and investigating data issues.
  • Experience in performing ad hoc analysis, validation, and data reconciliation.
  • Experience of working with data, including identifying trends, anomalies, and quality issues.
  • Experience of working with large and complex datasets in an operational or analytical environment.
  • An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to perform data validation, quality checks, and reconciliations across multiple data sources and systems, identifying discrepancies and supporting root cause analysis.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, able to present findings simply and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Experience of working to deadlines and meeting targets in a commercial or operational environment.
  • Curiosity and adaptability, with a desire to grow technical skills and contribute to building QA frameworks over time.
  • Interest in understanding data lineage, transformations, and how data flows from source systems through to reporting outputs.
  • Understanding of testing principles (e.g. validating expected vs actual outputs across data sets and reports).
