Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Software Developer to join a growing Integrity Solutions team based in Newcastle.

Working alongside engineers, technical specialists, and software professionals, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative software solutions for a range of client projects whilst contributing to the development of new tools and technologies through internal R&D initiatives.

This role would suit a developer who enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges and wants to work in a highly collaborative environment with international exposure., * Develop and enhance software solutions that support project delivery and business objectives

  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to define software requirements and deliver practical solutions
  • Act as a technical point of contact for software-related queries from internal stakeholders and clients
  • Participate in software testing, validation, and quality assurance activities
  • Deliver demonstrations, status updates, and technical presentations where required
  • Create supporting documentation and user guidance materials
  • Provide software training to users and stakeholders
  • Support colleagues across UK and international operations

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong Python development and scripting experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong written and spoken English, * Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, or ASP.NET
  • Experience designing user interfaces and improving user experience
  • Database development or database programming experience
  • Exposure to software testing and quality assurance processes
  • Experience providing application support or technical product support
  • Understanding of engineering environments or technical industries
