Job description
- Build and maintain data acquisition, integration, and migration workflows
- Design and implement data staging, ingestion, preparation, provisioning, and destruction processes
- Support production data pipelines with a focus on stability and fast issue resolution
- Develop, test, and maintain data architectures aligned to business and technical requirements
- Identify and implement improvements to data reliability, efficiency, and quality
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines
- Strong Java or Python skills
- Working knowledge of Big Data systems, automation, and security
- Production cloud experience
- Advanced SQL skills
- Working knowledge of AWS
- Hands-on PySpark experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
Data Engineer Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field
- Experience leading data transformation initiatives from on-premise to cloud, ideally in a healthcare setting
- Experience working in an Agile environment as a Data Engineer
- Hands-on AWS experience with Redshift, Spectrum, and S3
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry or provider-sponsored health insurance systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills
