Job description
Design, develop and support scalable Salesforce solutions that improve business processes, integration reliability and user experience.
- Design, develop, test and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript and platform capabilities
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs that align with platform standards and engineering best practices
- Build and maintain custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, declarative automation and reusable Salesforce components
- Evaluate requirements and recommend the right balance of declarative configuration and custom development within the Salesforce platform
- Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs, middleware and secure integration patterns
- Apply Salesforce security, performance, scalability and governance principles across solution design and implementation
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, estimation, release planning and deployment activities
- Troubleshoot defects, production issues and integration failures while supporting continuous improvement across the platform

Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience developing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components and JavaScript
- Strong understanding of core Apex concepts including triggers, governor limits, asynchronous processing, batch processing, exception handling and unit testing
- Solid understanding of Salesforce security and access controls including profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, role hierarchy and field-level security
- Experience designing and supporting integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, middleware and external services
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce declarative and point-and-click capabilities including flows, validation rules, approval processes, custom objects, page layouts and automation tools
- Demonstrated curiosity and problem-solving mindset with the ability to evaluate requirements and recommend practical solutions within the Salesforce landscape
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification preferred
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
- Nice to have experience with Java, Spring Boot and Angular
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification preferred

- Employee discount, For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $95,500.00 - $138,550.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
