Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP EHS Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) solutions within an enterprise S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Chemical or other Process Manufacturing industries and possess deep functional and technical expertise across SAP EHS modules. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and integrated SAP EHS solutions that support regulatory requirements and business operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of SAP EHS solutions in SAP S/4HANA programs.

  • Configure and support SAP EHS functionalities, including:

  • Incident Management

  • Product Safety

  • Dangerous Goods Management

  • Design end-to-end SAP EHS solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

  • Integrate SAP EHS with other SAP modules such as:

  • MM

  • SD

  • PP

  • QM

  • PM

  • PLM

  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.

  • Provide technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle, including solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory standards.

  • Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

  • Support data migration, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of overall SAP implementation experience.

  • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP EHS in large enterprise environments.

  • Strong expertise in:

  • Incident Management

  • Product Safety

  • Dangerous Goods Management

  • Proven experience implementing SAP EHS in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.

  • Strong experience integrating SAP EHS with other SAP modules.

  • Experience working in Chemical, Life Sciences, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, or other Process Industries.

  • Strong understanding of EHS regulatory compliance and industry best practices.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams., * Experience with multiple end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations.

  • SAP EHS certification is preferred.

  • Experience with global SAP rollout programs.

  • Familiarity with Agile and SAP Activate methodologies.

  • Experience working in highly regulated manufacturing environments.
