Test Engineer (Senior) (Remote)

The Senior Test Engineer shall lead verification and validation activities supporting enhancements, upgrades, cybersecurity changes, and sustainment of the EEO Case Management System. The individual will ensure software quality through comprehensive testing, defect management, regression testing, and release validation. Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate software enhancements, upgrades, and production fixes.
• Execute manual and automated testing activities.
• Document defects and manage issue tracking through resolution.
• Support production readiness reviews and release validation.
• Verify cybersecurity-related changes and security testing requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, systems engineers, and Government stakeholders during testing activities.
• Maintain testing documentation, test evidence, and quality metrics.

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 10 years of software testing experience.
• Experience testing enterprise Java/JEE applications.
• Experience supporting Agile testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and defect tracking systems.
• Knowledge of DoD software quality practices, RMF validation, and secure software testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
