Job description

The Enterprise Systems Analyst I's scope of responsibility includes providing enterprise system design and architecture implementation, planning, and deployment support, as well as, administration of multiple enterprise systems. This includes consulting with users on specification requirements. Discretion and sound judgment is expected.

Enterprise positions are restricted for use in central IT Division areas reporting to the institutional CIO and, as such, may interface with key IT leadership and/or other functional leadership from the Texas Tech University System institutions., + Works independently and/or with team members to: Provide architectural design, development, testing, installation, deployment, maintenance, and administration of enterprise hardware and software systems.

  • Identify/define all documentation needed for projects, whether existing or new. Provide consistent documentation for all projects.

  • Implements and troubleshoots enterprise Voice-related solutions/incidents/ outages.

  • Provides support to customers and CRM teams to understand customer requirements and responds to customer problems.

  • Provides first-level support for the installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring reliable connectivity, security, and performance while assisting with network projects and adhering to established operational standards and best practices.

  • Installs configures and troubleshoots the telecommunications systems. Conduct moves, adds, changes, analysis, and problem resolution.

  • Designs, programs, and supports telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software, including cloud-based communication platforms (UCaaS) and cloud-based call center applications (CCaaS).

  • Works within the team to develop and support the full M365 suite of tools.

  • Ability to manage planning, implementation, deployment, and administration for multiple enterprise systems. May interface with key IT leadership and/or other functional leadership from the Texas Tech University System institutions.

  • Adheres to all appropriate Institutional policies (including IT OPs) and other relevant internal departmental policies.

Schedule Details:

Monday through Friday 8a-5p, Adherence to robust safety practices and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations are responsibilities of all TTU employees.

Requirements

Microsoft 365 Administration, Microsoft Teams Voice, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Teams Rooms, SIP Trunking, Palo Alto Networks Firewalls, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area plus five (5) years related full-time paid experience OR a combination of related education and/or experience. Applicants for this Security Sensitive Level II position will be subject to a criminal background check and must pass a drug and alcohol test after a conditional offer of employment has been extended, but before employment can be confirmed., Working knowledge of enterprise Voice over IP (VoIP) technologies including SIP, SIP trunks, dial plans, call routing, and telephony infrastructure. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, Entra ID, SharePoint Online, and licensing. Understanding of enterprise networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, Quality of Service (QoS), and network troubleshooting. Knowledge of contact center platforms and customer experience technologies, including call queues, IVRs, reporting, and agent workflows. Familiarity with enterprise identity and access management concepts including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and role-based access control. Understanding of cloud and hybrid infrastructure architectures. Knowledge of cyber security principles and security best practices related to enterprise systems Understanding of enterprise monitoring, logging, and performance management tools. Knowledge of ITIL principles, change management, incident management, and problem management processes.

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
