Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Software Engineer with expertise in LabView ,Visual Basic, understanding of SQL databases and a strong understanding of electronics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity., You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Acton, MA location on a Hybrid work schedule., + Develop and maintain manufacturing processes and systems using Visual Basic and SQL databases.

  • Design and implement data acquisition and control systems using LabVIEW .

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize electronic components and systems.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot manufacturing issues to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and system configurations.

Requirements

  • BS Computer Science, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

  • 5 years' relevant software experience

  • Familiarity with National Instruments equipment, LabView, Visual Basic, and SQL databases

  • Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and debugging techniques.

  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on electronics.

  • Knowledge of network protocols, system integration, and real-time operating systems relevant to building automation.

  • Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures.

The annual base salary range for this position is $139,000 - $174,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
