Job description
Our client, is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to support the design and development of intuitive, accessible, and user-centered digital experiences. This role will partner closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Developers, and Researchers to transform business requirements into engaging user experiences that align with customer needs and enterprise goals., User Research & Analysis
- Conduct user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and other research activities to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate user needs and drive design decisions.
- Organize and structure content and workflows to support optimal user experience and business objectives.
Wireframing & Prototyping
- Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and functionality.
- Develop user flows, process flows, journey maps, and information architecture models.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Use Figma to create, iterate, and maintain design systems, mockups, and prototypes.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with implementation needs.
Visual & UI Design
- Design visually engaging and responsive interfaces using established principles of typography, layout, color theory, and iconography.
- Ensure designs provide a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Contribute to and maintain consistency with enterprise design standards and reusable design patterns.
- Partner with development teams to ensure design specifications are accurately implemented.
Accessibility & Inclusive Design
- Design solutions that comply with accessibility standards, including WCAG guidelines.
- Advocate for accessibility best practices throughout the design lifecycle.
- Conduct accessibility reviews and collaborate with developers to address usability and accessibility concerns.
Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct and synthesize user research activities.
- Create wireframes, user flows, journey maps, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, design reviews, and planning sessions.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine requirements and user stories.
- Work alongside developers to support implementation and resolve design-related questions.
- Validate solutions through usability testing and stakeholder feedback.
- Ensure user experiences align with accessibility and enterprise design standards.
Requirements
The ideal candidate brings a strong balance of user research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping expertise, with deep proficiency in Figma and a solid understanding of accessibility standards and modern web technologies., * 5+ years of UX/UI Design experience.
- 5+ years of User Research and Analysis experience.
- 5+ years of Wireframing and Prototyping experience.
- 5+ years of Visual/UI Design experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma (required).
- Experience creating user journeys, workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies and design thinking principles.
- Experience conducting usability testing and interpreting user research findings.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience designing responsive web and mobile experiences.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of front-end development concepts including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with:
- Visual Studio Code
- React
- Java-based applications and environments
- Experience working within large enterprise organizations, preferably in financial services or highly regulated environments.
- Experience working within Agile product teams.
