Job description
- Implement rendering features: Build lighting, materials, post processing, and animation systems to meet visual and functional requirements.
- Write and optimize shaders: Author HLSL/GLSL/Metal shaders and tune them for correctness and performance across GPUs.
- Profile and resolve bottlenecks: Use GPU/CPU profilers to identify hotspots and apply algorithmic or memory optimizations.
- Integrate 3D assets and pipelines: Work with artists and tools to import, validate, and optimize meshes, textures, and materials.
- Debug visual defects: Reproduce rendering issues, trace root causes, and implement robust fixes.
- Maintain code quality: Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow engine coding standards.
- Collaborate across teams: Coordinate with engine, tools, QA, and product to align on APIs, performance targets, and release scope.
- Support platform portability: Implement abstractions and fallbacks for multiple graphics, APIs, and hardware capabilities.
