Job description
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices to support business operations and customer-facing applications.
- Integrate backend APIs with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React or Angular) to deliver high-performing full stack web applications.
- Lead technical initiatives, including architecture design sessions, code reviews, and foundational decision-making.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices and corporate security/compliance standards.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including those related to identity, session management, and databases.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Cloud Engineers to deliver robust solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices within the team.
- Utilize cloud platforms (Azure or GCP), Git, and CI/CD pipelines for deployment and maintenance.
- Ensure accessibility and compliance with standards such as WCAG.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of secure coding, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, SAML, and directory integrations.
Requirements
Apply experience in enterprise software architecture, API/database design, and modern web security practices.

(Preferred) Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and regulated industries.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

8+ years of professional full stack and backend software development experience. Nice to Have:

Experience with Progressive Web Applications (PWA), reusable design systems, and UI component libraries.

Background in utility, energy, or regulated industries.
