Job description
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA MM & WM Module Lead to lead the design, configuration, and delivery of Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) workstreams in large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs .
The role is responsible for ensuring successful migration from ECC to S/4HANA, aligning logistics processes with SAP best practices, and delivering high-quality solutions across procurement, inventory, and warehouse operations., MM & WM Module Leadership
- Lead MM and WM functional workstreams in SAP S/4HANA transformation projects (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Selective Transition).
- Own end-to-end solution delivery for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Inventory & Warehouse processes .
- Act as the primary point of contact for MM & WM topics for business stakeholders and project leadership.
Solution Design & Configuration
- Drive solution design and hands-on configuration for:
- SAP MM : Purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation, Account Determination
- SAP WM : Inbound/Outbound Processing, Putaway, Picking, Storage Types & Sections
- Ensure adoption of S/4HANA logistics simplifications (MATDOC, FI integration).
- Lead decision-making on Classic WM vs Stock Room Management vs Embedded EWM .
S/4HANA Transformation Activities
- Lead Fit-to-Standard (F2S) workshops and business process harmonization.
- Identify and manage custom code (RICEFW) impacts for MM & WM in S/4HANA.
- Support Business Partner (BP) and logistics master data conversion activities.
Integration & Cross-Module Coordination
- Coordinate closely with SD, PP, QM, FI/CO, EWM, and TM teams.
- Ensure seamless end-to-end integration across logistics and finance processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, enhancements, and data migration.
Testing, Cutover & Go-Live
- Lead MM & WM unit testing, SIT, UAT , and defect resolution.
- Own cutover planning for inventory, open POs, and warehouse stock.
- Provide go-live and hypercare support , acting as the MM & WM escalation lead.
Governance & Team Leadership
- Ensure compliance with SAP Activate methodology and project standards.
- Review and approve functional specifications, configuration, and test artifacts.
- Mentor MM & WM consultants and support knowledge transfer activities.
Requirements
SAP MM & WM Expertise
- 10-12+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on expertise in:
- SAP MM (P2P, Inventory Management, Valuation)
- SAP WM (Classic WM)
- At least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA transformation projects in a lead role.
S/4HANA & Logistics Knowledge
- Experience with:
- MATDOC and inventory simplification
- Business Partner (BP) concept
- WM migration strategies
- Exposure to Embedded EWM is highly desirable.
Leadership & Delivery Skills
- Proven ability to lead module-level delivery in complex SAP programs.
- Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills.
- Experience working in global onshore-offshore delivery models ., * SAP S/4HANA certification in MM or Logistics
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology
- Industry experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail, or Consumer Goods
- Exposure to QM, TM, or Yard Logistics is an advantage
- Strong understanding of ECC to S/4HANA logistics differences and simplifications .

Benefits & conditions
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $125,685 - $290,938. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
