Job description
Serve as the primary technical lead bridging Komodo's AI and data platform with customer needs: lead requirements gathering, hands-on data deliveries, integrate AI tooling (Marmot), coordinate cross-functional teams, document roadmaps, and drive scalable automation to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery and ongoing customer success., In this role, you'll serve as a strategic technical lead, bridging the gap between Komodo's data ecosystem and our customers' most critical business objectives. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of our most sophisticated AI tooling-specifically Marmot, our proprietary AI engine-integrating Komodo's data into the core of industry leading healthcare organizations. Your responsibility extends beyond the initial implementation as you continue to engineer creative solutions and maintain a feedback loop to ensure that our technology solves real-world patient problems. What You'll Do:
Lead with AI: Become the go-to expert on Komodo's AI capabilities, helping customers navigate the frontier of machine learning in healthcare.
Own the Outcome: Be the primary customer-facing technical resource responsible for ensuring delivery milestones are achieved on schedule. This includes leading requirements gathering, executing hands-on data deliveries, and turning ambiguous client workflows into concrete realities.
Be the Customer Champion: Serve as the primary internal advocate for your customers, ensuring their technical priorities and pain points are understood and addressed by Komodo's internal product teams.
Orchestrate Internal Collaboration: Act as the central point of contact between Sales, Delivery, Support, and Product to ensure internal teams remain aligned on each customer's unique technical roadmap.
Operate with Precision: Eliminate ambiguity by establishing a clear source of truth for every project. You will build and maintain the thorough technical documentation, roadmap tracking, and system hygiene required to keep our internal teams synchronized and executing seamlessly.
Influence Change: Proactively identify functional gaps in data or workflow requirements and design the necessary technical "bridges" to ensure a seamless experiences.

- Obtained an understanding of Komodo's Healthcare Map, platform, and suite of products.
- Executed customer product delivery on schedule and at high quality, driving in-depth technical discussions and hands-on data delivery.
- Contributed to Komodo's playbooks and internal knowledge base.
These are the essential job duties you will be responsible for
- Scope and solution both standard and non-standard workflows to determine the optimal path for delivering client value.
- Facilitate detailed data conversations with Komodo's Legal and Compliance teams, distilling and communicating compliance boundaries to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for automation and scalability within our delivery workflows to transform repetitive tasks into streamlined, repeatable processes.
- Mobilize cross-functional teams (including Product, Engineering, Data, and Customer Success) to swiftly diagnose and resolve technical customer bottlenecks and bespoke requests.
Requirements
- Core Data Skills: Strong foundational knowledge in data queries (SQL or similar), database schemas, and data architecture concepts.
- AI Fluency: A strong understanding of core AI/ML concepts and an excitement to master Komodo's product ecosystem. You are proficient in using generative AI tools to accelerate workflow automation and your own development productivity.
- Cloud & Platform Infrastructure: A foundational, operational understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure, Snowflake data warehousing, and API technologies.
- Workflow Automation: Hands-on experience automating data execution tasks and pipelines using Snowflake Tasks, Airflow, or scripting languages.

- Healthcare Domain Expertise: Prior professional experience working within the healthcare, life sciences, or healthtech industries, giving you a baseline familiarity with medical or scientific data workflows.
- Quantitative Background: A degree in a technical or quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Health Informatics) or equivalent practical technical experience.

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of annual base pay that we reasonably expect to pay for this position within the US. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.
The starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company's sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan. This role may also be eligible for equity awards. In addition, this role is eligible for benefits including, but not limited to, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; flexible time off and holidays; 401(k) with company match; disability insurance and life insurance; and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable state and local laws and regulations and company policy. San Francisco Bay Area and New York City: $121,000-$162,000 USD All Other US Locations: $105,000-$141,000 USD
