Collins Aerospace is looking for a Teamcenter Systems Administrator and Support candidate that has a strong record of meeting project deadlines and ability to successfully work with cross-functional teams. The Teamcenter Administrator will support EPEC Teamcenter 14.x and 2506 - Configuration, Customization, Upgrade, Migration , Site consolidation activities and support. Core responsibility to provide daily support of the Teamcenter user base, primary support for supporting end users, new deployments, and process improvements.
** This is a hybrid position based at one of Collins' major facilities. Candidate must be able to work Pacific Time Zone business hours.**
What YOU will do:
- Administer and maintain all aspects of the Teamcenter production system
- Collaborates with development and infrastructure teams to confirm system limitations, capabilities, performance standards and requirements, and interfaces
- Troubleshoot and resolve Teamcenter and Application issues in production and drive resolution for Teamcenter outages including coordination with other support groups and recovery managers
- Stand up new TC instances for enterprise usage, manage Teamcenter software releases, system upgrades, patches, and troubleshoot software related problems with minimal downtime
- Performs configuration management tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, comply with standard hardware configurations, and are logistically sustainable
- Actively monitor and continuously improve the production environment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability
- Documents system parameters and formats, as well as hardware and software systems compatibility
- Clearly articulate needs and timelines to other IT staff to get things done in an efficient and autonomous manner
- Monitor performance of application and SQL database used by Teamcenter and work with server operations and the database team to optimize solutions for minimizing application downtime and optimizing throughput
- Administration of Teamcenter Application Server components for 4 tier, 2 tier, and web tier with single sign on, AWS, T4S Integration and multiple CAD integrations
- Excellent Teamcenter data model knowledge
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience If position is Engineering/Other Technical Position:
- U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- This is a hybrid position based at one of Collins' major facilities. Candidates must be able to work Pacific Time Zone business hours.
- Ability to perform admin/support activities over the weekends and after core business hours.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in Teamcenter 14.x/2506 server and client-side system administration activities including TEM Deployment, BMIDE, OTW, AWC, and other customization updates
- Experienced in performing due diligence, impact analysis, and deployment of
- Teamcenter customization packages on various server components
- Experience in administrating T4S Integration, Translation services, multisite and custom interfaces
- Experience in administrating Teamcenter services on various operating systems - Redhat
- Linux and Windows platform
- Working knowledge of Oracle or comparable RDBMS and SQL knowledge
- NX software knowledge and NX Manager knowledge
- Knowledge in multi-Site architecture and administration
- Knowledge of Workflow Designer, Structure Manager, Access Manager, Preference
- Manager, Query builder and change management
- Demonstration of excellent analytical skills, effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Level 2 and Level 3 support for Teamcenter 14.x/2506

- And more!, The salary range for this role is 62,900 USD - 119,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
