The Technology Partnerships team leads UKG's ecosystem of strategic software partners, helping extend the value of our Human Capital Management (HCM), Workforce Management (WFM), and HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions. We partner across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to identify market opportunities, deliver innovative integrations, and drive ecosystem growth. Our mission is to build partnerships that create exceptional customer value, accelerate business outcomes, and strengthen UKG's leadership in the HR technology market., As a Principal Technology Partner Executive on the Technology Partnerships team, you will lead UKG's most strategic global software partnerships and serve as a trusted advisor across product, technology, sales, marketing, and executive leadership teams. You will define and drive partnership strategy, influence product and go-to-market direction, and help shape the future of UKG's partner ecosystem.
In this highly visible role, you will manage complex partner relationships across the Human Capital Management (HCM), Workforce Management (WFM), and HR Service Delivery (HRSD) landscape, ensuring partner solutions deliver meaningful value to customers and align with UKG's long-term business objectives. Leveraging deep industry expertise, strong business acumen, and technical understanding, you will lead major partnership initiatives from strategy through execution while influencing decisions across organizational boundaries.
UKG's partner ecosystem enables partners to build and maintain integrations through our APIs, developer tools, and marketplace. As a recognized expert in technology partnerships, you will help evolve this ecosystem, identify emerging market opportunities, and guide the development of innovative partner solutions that extend the value of UKG products globally.
Key Responsibilities

Define and execute partnership strategies that support UKG's long-term business objectives, product vision, and go-to-market priorities.

Lead UKG's most strategic technology partnerships, serving as the executive relationship owner and trusted advisor for partner stakeholders.

Influence cross-functional leaders across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Operations to align partnership investments and execution plans.

Drive large-scale partnership initiatives with significant visibility, complexity, and business impact, including integration strategy, partner enablement, and commercialization.

Anticipate industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify new partnership opportunities and inform strategic decisions.

Develop business cases, success metrics, and performance frameworks to evaluate partnership effectiveness and guide investment decisions.

Resolve complex business, technical, and operational challenges while balancing partner, customer, and UKG priorities.

Partner closely with field sales leadership to accelerate joint customer opportunities and maximize ecosystem value.

Act as a thought leader within UKG and the broader HR technology ecosystem, representing partnership strategy and market insights to senior stakeholders.
Requirements

10+ years of experience in Enterprise SaaS, technology partnerships, business development, product strategy, or related disciplines.

Demonstrated success leading strategic partnerships and cross-functional initiatives with significant business impact.

Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders, build consensus, and drive outcomes across complex organizations.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven ability to lead multiple high-priority initiatives while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.

Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience in technology partnerships, management consulting, strategic alliances, channel ecosystems, or product leadership.

Knowledge of software integrations, APIs, and platform ecosystems.

Strong understanding of the Human Capital Management and/or Workforce Management industry.

Experience influencing executive stakeholders and leading global initiatives.

Ability to identify emerging market trends and translate insights into business strategy.
Benefits & conditions
The pay range for this position is $145,600.00 to $209,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
