Cloud Network Security Engineer

The Opportunity: We are looking for a Cloud Network Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of secure networking solutions across cloud environments. This role emphasizes building resilient and scalable network security architectures, strengthening connectivity across hybrid infrastructures, and ensuring robust protection for enterprise cloud systems and applications. You will play a key role in advancing secure cloud adoption through automation, policy standardization, and modern network security practices., * Develop and deploy secure networking architectures across cloud and hybrid environments.

• Implement and automate security controls across network layers, including firewalls, segmentation policies, and cloud-native protections.
• Create and manage Infrastructure-as-Code templates to standardize and scale secure network deployments.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to establish secure connectivity between on-premises systems and cloud platforms.
• Support and optimize connectivity solutions such as private links, peering, and enterprise-grade cloud networking services.
• Evaluate and test new networking and security technologies to enhance existing capabilities.
• Work with security operations teams to improve monitoring, logging, and threat visibility across network environments.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions to ensure compliance with enterprise security frameworks.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in network security, cloud security, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking fundamentals, including segmentation, routing, load balancing, and secure access controls.
• Experience using automation tools and scripting for infrastructure and security deployments.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, logging systems, and security event integrations.
• Knowledge of enterprise security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, secure gateways, and zero trust models.
• Experience securing SaaS applications and managing integrations with enterprise systems.
• Understanding of identity-based access mechanisms and secure authentication protocols.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives., * Exposure to automation-driven security practices and AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with complex network architectures.
• Familiarity with modern cloud security frameworks and best practices.
• Experience implementing security solutions aligned with zero trust principles.
• Preferred certifications include, CCNP Security or equivalent, * A hands-on engineer with strong expertise in cloud networking and security implementation.
