Security Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to support our organization's global security infrastructure. This role involves the architecture, design, and deployment of network security solutions, with a focus on Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager and Broadcom Bluecoat Secure Web Gateway. The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise, engage in solution design, and collaborate with various teams to enhance our cybersecurity posture., * Remain available for on-call support for major outage issue and ticket investigations related to the Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager.

• Maintain the Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager solution and support the Broadcom Bluecoat Secure Web Gateway enterprise proxy solution.
• Develop integrations of the proxy with other cyber security solutions.
• Function as a liaison between the client and Palo Alto Support.
• Engage in the technical design of solutions based on use cases and business requirements.
• Participate in proof of concepts and other technical evaluations of technologies, designs, and solutions, providing recommendations.
• Support the development of cybersecurity requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and policies.
• Perform analysis on cybersecurity data and test results.

Experience: Experience level 2 in a Cyber Security Engineer role.

Technical Skills:

• Highly proficient in the architecture, design, and deployment of the Palo Alto Strata Cloud Manager product.
• Experience with Broadcom Bluecoat Secure Web Gateway enterprise proxy solution.
• Knowledge of security controls for networking devices, databases, and operating systems.

Professional Skills:

• Demonstrated strong written, oral, and presentation skills with the ability to discuss technical concepts with diverse audiences.
• Ability to listen and collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Must be self-motivated and self-educating, while also working collaboratively within a team.
