Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot (mandatory) Hands-on experience with AWS, especially ECS, IAM roles/security concepts, and cloud application deployment Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems Strong Backend Development experience (full-stack is acceptable, but backend should be the primary expertise) Good knowledge of SQL, databases, and writing complex SQL queries Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools such as Jenkins Basic working knowledge of Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) Ability to explain application architecture, deployment process, AWS services used, and development tools Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and production deployments Nice to Have Skills Experience with GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development AWS Certification (preferred, especially for senior-level candidates) Experience working with Terraform frameworks Exposure to frontend technologies (React/Angular) for minor UI enhancements Experience working in Agile environments Ideal Candidate Strong backend Java developer with expertise in Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka, SQL, and CI/CD. Comfortable working on cloud-native applications and explaining end-to-end application architecture, deployment, and AWS implementation. Senior (602) candidates should demonstrate deeper technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS, and Terraform with the ability to mentor others and solve complex technical problems. Manager Notes Focus technical screening on Spring Boot, Kafka, AWS, SQL/Database, and CI/CD rather than Core Java alone. Candidates must clearly explain the AWS services, deployment process, Jenkins pipelines, and tools they have used in previous projects. AI-assisted development experience (e.g., GitHub Copilot) is a plus. Backend experience is the priority; frontend work is minimal.
