Job description
- Analyze, design and customize the current PeopleSoft System with respect to the requirements using PeopleSoft tools such as People Tools, People Code, SQL, SQR, XML Publisher, Component interface, Unix Scripting, COBOL and STAT.
- Use Application Designer and other PeopleCode to code new or modify existing programs and create new pages, functions and views to suffice the application needs.
- Take the lead on analyzing new functionality in PUM images (Application Features) and share results with SE team and business users.
- Develop and configure test automation networks and execute stability and performance tests.
- Develop and execute test automation through PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF), Python and hardware and software test tools. Involved in product design to guarantee adherence of test coverage for meeting end user requirements.
- Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.
- Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks.
- Analyze and verify best automated and manual test approaches and execute acceptance, integration, installation and system testing.
- Analyze performance test requirements and develop test plans and debug to understand test objective requirements.
- Interact with various business users to gather details, impacts and criticality to assess the right order/priority.
- Be the onsite liaison for all offshore resources including the ones assigned to specific projects.
- Collaborate with functional and technical staff through each phase, maintain and configure the system.
- Participate in the Full Life Cycle of the project and perform activities of gap analysis, configuration, design, development, implementation, upgrade and testing. Assist in SIT and UAT phases of the project through production roll out.
- Participate in retrofitting the fields, records, record field people code.
- Research and resolve system problems, unexpected results or process flaws, perform scheduled activities, recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Design Test documents and involved in Tier-n testing (Other applications). Analyzing and remediating the Tier N assets for the project.
- Effective defect logging, tracking & reporting using JIRA.
- Prepare software defect tracking and report entire project release status to stakeholders.
Requirements
This job requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Computer Software Professional. We Will also accept Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related and 3 years of experience in the job offered.
