Job description
Our client seeks a Senior System Analyst to partner with engineering teams to design and implement strategic and tactical solutions across Enterprise Digital Operations. The role will analyze cloud and distributed platforms, translate business needs into technical specifications, and support delivery in a fast-paced agile environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to enable high-value software solutions that support brokerage recordkeeping platforms and continuous improvement., * Partner with engineering teams to design and deliver cloud and distributed technology solutions supporting enterprise brokerage operations.
- Translate business requirements into clear, testable technical specifications and API contracts.
- Perform technical analysis across AWS services, Java-based APIs, and integration patterns using Swagger, JSON, XML, and Spring Core.
- Create and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability in Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Collaborate with QA to support automation strategies and ensure solution quality.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data flows and troubleshoot issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and support agile ceremonies within a high-velocity delivery team.
Requirements

- 6+ years collaborating with engineering teams on technology initiatives.
- Proficiency with AWS concepts and console navigation, APIs, Swagger, Spring Core, JSON, and XML.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database query tools.
- Working understanding of QA automation practices and tools.
- Agile methodology experience and fluency with Jira, Jira Align, and Confluence.
- Background blending QA and systems analysis is valued.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications and integration designs.
- Knowledge of Java API design and implementation concepts.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
