Job description

Quevera is seeking a Systems Engineer to support mission-critical programs in Fort Meade, Maryland. This position requires an active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph and will support the analysis, design, integration, and implementation of complex enterprise systems. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams and Government stakeholders to develop system requirements, guide technical solutions, and ensure the successful integration of new capabilities into operational environments.

In this role, you will analyze system requirements, develop system architectures and engineering documentation, support Linux-based environments, and provide technical leadership throughout the systems engineering lifecycle. This position requires experience maintaining secure Linux systems, supporting vulnerability remediation efforts, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, mission-focused solutions., * Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.

  • Analyze system requirements and support the design and development of enterprise system solutions.
  • Guide users in formulating system requirements, evaluate alternative technical approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Provide technical leadership supporting the integration of system requirements, architecture, design, and technology.
  • Incorporate new plans, system designs, and capabilities into existing operational environments.
  • Develop technical documentation, including system architecture and system design documentation.
  • Support system development and implementation planning through the preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders regarding systems engineering considerations, technical issues, and project requirements.
  • Ensure the technical integrity of systems engineering deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate effectively with program personnel, Government representatives, and senior leadership to support successful project execution.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.

  • Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

  • Fourteen (14) years of Systems Engineering experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • Previous Systems Administrator or Systems Engineer experience.

  • Experience building and maintaining Linux systems.

  • Experience performing system maintenance, including researching, remediating, and applying fixes for Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) in a timely manner.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (required for applicable positions), such as:

  • Security+

  • CCNA Security

  • CySA+

  • GICSP

  • GSEC

  • SSCP

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
