Job description
The location for this role is our Headquarters in Nashville, TN. This role is responsible for supporting front-end web updates, basic UI/UX design needs, and related projects, including IT support. This position will help create and maintain clean, user-friendly web experiences, but will also collaborate with others on more complex design, development and support initiatives., * Listen to and guide employees remotely and in person through systems configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance to offer optimal solutions.
- Support the company's IT helpline and become familiar with its networking functionality.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, follows up and communicates progress in a timely manner.
- Work with employees and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, support digital requests, and pass on unresolved issues or suggestions as needed to internal IT department.
- Maintain and protect confidentiality regarding all aspects of client information and priviledged company procedures.
- Provide quick and effective assistance with front-end web updates, page maintenance, and basic UI/UX needs.
- Create and update clean page layouts, reusable UI components, and responsive content for web experiences.
- Translate design mockups or business requests into functional web pages using HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript.
- Maintain consistency in typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, usability, and cross-device presentation.
- Other duties as assigned by Management / Leadership.
Requirements
- Associates' degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant field (or commensurate experience).
- Early-career or entry-level experience in front-end UI/UX design, front-end development, or both.
- Basic working knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive web design, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Understanding of basic UX principles, including usability, accessibility, visual hierarchy, and user flows.
- Experience using design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Customer service and/or helpdesk experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
