Job description

  • Design, develop, and support scalable solutions within the Allegro ETRM platform to meet evolving business requirements
  • Customize and configure Allegro workflows, reports, and integrations to support trading, risk, scheduling, and accounting processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across Allegro modules in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develop and maintain interfaces between Allegro and upstream/downstream systems, ensuring data integrity and reliability
  • Participate in system upgrades, patching, and regression testing activities
  • Optimize database performance and maintain data integrity within SQL Server environments
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders across trading, risk, scheduling, and accounting teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
  • Provide ongoing support for system enhancements, bug fixes, and continuous improvements
  • Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, customizations, and support activities

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Allegro Developer within our IT Marketing Systems group based in Houston, Texas., * Strong development proficiency in C# / .NET frameworks

  • Expertise in SQL Server including T-SQL, stored procedures, and query performance tuning
  • Ability to leverage AI and emerging developer tools to accelerate troubleshooting, code quality, and deployment efficiency
  • Solid problem-solving and debugging skills across complex enterprise applications
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on accuracy and continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field is required
  • 2-4 years of hands-on application development experience is required
  • Strong development skills in C# / .NET and SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)
  • Experience working with enterprise applications and system integrations
  • Experience leveraging evolving AI tools for troubleshooting and increased deployment velocity
  • Solid problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn Allegro ETRM functionality and energy trading business processes, * Development experience with the Allegro ETRM platform (Allegro Horizon preferred)
  • Understanding of the energy trading lifecycle spanning front, mid, and back office operations
  • Experience with API / web services integrations and data migration or system interface development
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools
  • Experience planning deployments and communicating dependencies and risks to stakeholders
